The event takes place after mid-February at 11.00 a.m. All Italian and non-Italian couples who celebrate 25 years of marriage within the current year may take part; the ceremony consists of a Eucharistic celebration presided over by the bishop of the City of Terni and with the presence of the mayor. At the end of the ceremony, a hand-written, named parchment is presented, a keepsake of this day to the couples attending.
It is a traditional event of the Events for Saint Valentine in which every year hundreds of couples from everywhere take part.
