From the Basilica of Saint Valentine the procession of Saint Valentine sets out to reach the Cathedral of Terni where the Solemn Pontifical Mass is celebrated in the presence of the Bishop, accompanied by the parish priests of the Diocese, with all civil and religious authorities present.

The Eucharistic celebration is solemnly accompanied by a choir and organists of national renown. During the celebration the Bishop sends a message of love to all the faithful, of every social class and every religion. The whole city and the pilgrims pay homage to Saint Valentine and entrust to him concerns tied to their hopes, the future, the loved one and the family.
